Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Marengo

- 2-3 lbs. skinless chicken (you can use any parts that you prefer, bone-in or bone-out)
- 1 16 ounce jar marinara sauce
- 1 onion sliced
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ¼ lb. fresh mushrooms sliced
- salt and pepper
Place chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker. Generously season with salt and pepper.
Add the onions around the chicken.
Add the white wine and the marinara sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Add mushrooms, and then cook for one additional hour.
Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
