Ingredients
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3.5 pounds beef brisket
1 tablespoon grass-fed butter
5 tomatoes
2 yellow onions, sliced into thin rings
Directions
- Rub brisket with onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper
- Heat butter in a pan & brown brisket (cook for 1-2 mins. per a side)
- Bring approximately 2 quarts of water to a boil, then drop tomatoes in boiling water for approx. 1 minute. Then drain in colander. Remove skin (it should fall right off) & cut tomatoes in half length-wise
- Place brisket in slow cooker, add tomatoes, and place sliced onions on top
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
