Product Review: Steve’s PaleoGoods (and GIVEAWAY!)

I finally had a chance to try some Steve’s PaleoGoods products. I don’t know how I’ve gone all these years without trying them. They are the oldest Paleo snack company (at least that I can remember).

I used to rarely buy pre-packaged Paleo snacks, maybe for the occasional road trip or plane flight. My life used to be – Crossfit, go to work, cook, sleep and hang out with friends. Oh boy, has that changed over the last couple of years, since I’ve become a parent and a business owner.

Although I still cook very often, I find the need for convenience foods to be so much more prevalent. It’s been a great learning experience for me though. As a health coach, I can understand my clients struggles to transition to Paleo much better than I could as an overly-ambitious, 20-something, health-nut.

Making all your food from scratch, when you have an extremely full schedule can be really really tough. Lately, I am all about healthy short cuts.

And when you have little ones that go to school, it’s so helpful to have healthy snacks ready to go for those days that you didn’t quite make it to the grocery store. I am genuinely grateful for companies like, Steve’s PaleoGoods that help me out on the most hectic days.

We got to try some really awesome goodies from Steve’s PaleoGoods. When they asked me what I want to try, I told them that I am a condiment queen and I am obsessed with dried fruit.

Before we jump into their impressive product line, I also want to share that 15% of proceeds from sales of Steve’s PaleoGoods go to Steve’s Club National Program, a non-profit organization that brings fitness, nutrition guidance and mentorship to at-risk youth. How wonderful is that?

Steve’s PaleoGoods: Sauces

Good sauces will change your Paleo game! And Steve’s PaleoGoods have sooooo many! You can see the full list HERE.

I love premade Paleo sauces. They make whipping up dinner so easy! I couldn’t try the ketchup or Wing Sauce, since they both have tomatoes and I am really sensitive to them. My family gave both those a 2 thumbs up!

The Ginger Cilantro is awesome for marinating chicken, then stir-frying it up for an Asian dish. You end up with a ton of flavor with minimal effort. I have been loving the maple mustard on my kale salads. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. It seriously takes my salad to the next level!

Steve’s PaleoGoods: Dried Fruit

Clearly, we couldn’t wait until I shot the pictures to break into these bad boys. They basically taste like fruit snacks. I had to hide these from Brooke and Indy, so they wouldn’t eat them all before I could shoot the photos for this review. All the dried fruit we tried were super tasty, but if you were going to try just one, I highly recommend the dried strawberries!

Paleo NutButter, Granola and Beyond!

Okay, Paleokoko should be called Paleo crack. This stuff is ridiculous! I’ve tried many Paleo granolas, and none compare to this one. Steve’s PaleoGood’s has this recipe dialed in. It’s the first Paleo granola I’ve had that actually tastes like granola and not a bunch of nuts. You can see the whole line of granola/cereal HERE.

Flourless Paleo Cookies using Steve’s PaleoGoods

IMG_6415

One of our favorite ways to enjoy Steve’s Paleo Goods is making these flourless Paleo cookies! They are so delicious and chewy with the perfect amount of crunch. I don’t even understand how they work. They have the texture of real cookies without using any flour. My friend Katja that created this recipe is a genius!  These are by far the best Paleo cookies I’ve ever had.

I use this amazing recipe for Flourless Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies from Savory Lotus. For Steve’s PaleoGood’s version I omitted the peppermint essential oil and the chocolate chips. I added 1/4 cup of Steve’s PaleoGood’s dried cranberries and 1/4 cup of Paleokoko. Enjoy!
