Have you heard of this? I just learned about it from the practitioner that I am working with. He recommended that I stop drinking coffee for the time being (so sad) to help improve my sleep. I have my diet dialed in, but sleep is a whole different beast that I am working to improve. I am finding it much more difficult than the diet aspect of a healthy lifestyle. He said, I can substitute with some kukicha, which is a twig tea. It is a Japanese blend, made of stems, stalks and twigs of the tea shrub, Camellia sinensi.
Kukicha Green Tea is low in caffeine (but still has some, thank goodness!) & rich in minerals such as Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Selenium, Manganese, and Fluoride. This tea also contains Vitamins C, B1, B2, Niacin, & Vitamin A.
This is the kind they had at my local grocery store. I really enjoyed the flavor … it is light, nutty, & smooth. I like that the caffeine content is low enough that I can sip on a couple of cups a day.

I LOVE this tea! its so musky and flavorful. I am trying to stay away from caffeine and black tea – thanks for reminding me what a good substitute kukicha is. 🙂
by the way- I LOVE your blog !
