Slow Cooker Paleo Teriyaki Chicken –
This Paleo Teriyaki Chicken makes an appearance on our menu almost weekly. Mostly because Indyanna loves it and asks for it all the time. So, this one is toddler approved, but I am not actually sure if you want approval from my toddler. Her other current favorite food is this Paleo Satay Sauce with strawberries. Strange combo, but to each his own, I guess!
This recipe is from my new eBook, Easy Paleo Slow Cooker Meals. You can purchase it here for only $2.99. If you don’t have a kindle or you just prefer to use a different device (including your computer), you can download the free app HERE.
I wanted to share this recipe here for free, for those of you that don’t have my eBook. I find easy and flavorful, slow cooker recipes like this one invaluable. The biggest complaint I hear about the Paleo lifestyle is that it requires a lot of time to prepare all the food. This is true, cooking meats and vegetables is far more demanding than boiling a bag of pasta and pouring some pre-made sauce over it. I have personally found that having a handful of delicious recipes that you and your family love, that require little time to prepare to be key in adapting this lifestyle and not stressing about meals.
This is one of those recipes for us! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
The coconut aminos is key in making a Paleo teriyaki sauce. It is naturally slightly sweet, so it doesn’t require as much sweetener to get that teriyaki flavor. I don’t recommend substituting tamari for this recipe, if you do, you will need to up the amount of honey that this recipe calls for.
Slow Cooker Paleo Teriyaki Chicken

- In a small bowl, mix coconut aminos, honey, fresh ginger and garlic cloves.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken from the slow cooker.
